    New 40k Base sizes

So if you haven't seen the new Blood Angels/Nids Starter kit pics are up. unfortunately, GW is also showing off some new bases:
    6 x 40mm Round Bases, 5 x 32mm Round Bases, 9 x 25mm Round Bases, 3 x 50mm Round Bases, 1 x 105mm Oval Base and 1 x 75mm Oval Base.
I'm excited because Assault Marines look like they are getting some new base sizes. Then I noticed the new Blood Angels Tactical Marines had the same bases. I'm less excited now because I really don't want to have to rebase all my marines. But also why are they putting out a new base for carnifexes in the 105mm Oval?

I know it's not going to be a huge deal locally (at least for awhile) but I'm curious as to how this will be handled by TO's at the national level in the next year. I can recall one basing "scandal" that happened a few years ago so it has been an issue in the past. But I'm seriously not looking forward to rebasing entire armies. I bet they are going to be selling 32mm base packs within a few months...I know I would.

The Swedish are already working on this you need to be patient. They are collaborating with the Americans from wonkos toys and games.

I think this is all a conspiracy started by Dash of Pepper and Stellak.

Maybe GW is just tired of the old system of X bases means X unit type so they are tossing all the base rules out the window. "Whatever base looks best on the model is what it gets" kind of mindset maybe? Rules for both systems to be written and make sense latter, if your lucky.

Bases don't matter enough for me to rebase anything.

My DC army will get bigger bases when I build it.

I do like larger bases, so much room for activities.

I am not changing mine ... I have spent too much money just on resin bases.

After reading this I have decided that the movie "Pineaple Express" should redo one of its quotes from:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Jude Law."

    To:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Nick Rose."

Old terminators originally had the smaller bases and the sky didn't fall when then new ones came out.
