03 May Double Deuces: Fog of War, Part Deux

    Hey all,

It's ETC composition night this Tuesday for Double Deuces. Note that for simplicity, we'll use ETC comp, but out of the book Warhammer for actual gameplay. Additionally, we'll be playing Fog of War style scenarios, so bring a 2500 point *closed* list.

Closed list means- you announce the mundane equipment (or equivalent) of each model you place, and on request should give a total points value for a given model. Assassins, fanatics, and such do not need to be revealed (but their locations should be recorded for posterity).

For example: An empire captain with full plate, shield, dragonhelm, the sword of swift slaying, and a potion of speed would be described as wearing full plate, with a shield and hand weapon. (There is no mundane equivalent for a helm or the potion).

I encourage you to try something new with your lists- see if there's any cool/unexpected things you can try in conjunction with the "closed list" environment.

    See you there!

    Davy

So your saying we can make any list we want, but for the purpose of the nights events we shall be using the etc comp of doom?

Err... Make a list using the latest ETC restrictions- but bear in mind it will be a "closed" list. Your last outing with the DEs in our game was extremely close to being ETC legal, BTW...

Really? I thought you had two stacks of 18 plus the magic one. That comes out to 37, two over the cap?

I'll be there next week, and I think I'll bring Empire, though I might change my mind if some cool new build idea pops into my head. Charles is up in Boston next week, so he won't be able to show, but I'll see if we can coax Jesse out since it's ETC restricted.
