yeah i really "felt" good last night... reasons

    1)Brandon was gaming
2)the Dragons lair staff showed us some love
3)Chris got his asss stomped, that always helps!
4)just the talk on the interwebs have got some of the fustrations out and the fact that gamers were gaming last night!

This Thursday was good. It made me want to club. Everyone was cursing friendly if that makes sense.

Which by the way Splines. I forgot to get with you about the Kastorel Novem IA book Ork Rules book. You playing on Sunday? I'll make sure to bring it then.

It was heart breaking and funny all at the same time! At least your terminators did not get tank shocked and then fail the morale test and then get run off the board!

After reading this I have decided that the movie "Pineaple Express" should redo one of its quotes from:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Jude Law."

    To:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Nick Rose."

So I'm no longer in Austin, which is crazy sad because it seems like the club might be gaming now. I started playing 40k at an awkward time (right when BFG closed). I'll say that learning to play and trying to get into the competitive scene was near impossible. I know most people are willing to play and teach, but sadly I never made any long lasting friends or gamers.

I know there is a competitive spirit in Austin, but just as a note to you experienced guys...Don't count out the little guy. My experience was pretty isolated, even though I really wanted to learn and break into competitive war gaming. Went to tournaments and came to game nights on Thursdays. Hopefully, when I get back one day, my experience will be different.

Just my experience with "competitive" 40k in Austin.
