It was TexasGamesCon last year, but no one called it that. The only reason for the change IIRC is that the newspaper or other advertisers didn't like the word 'war' so they changed that part of it. I'm sure they said eff that and are now using their original name.

That and GW made them change the first name
"The Machine will grind you down."
    Inventor of the "Chris Noble".

    Bayou 2011 "Hero to Zero"
    Lone Wolf 2011 9 3rd overall. "GateKeeper"
2013 North Texas Battles 3rd overall and tied for 3rd best sport.

Newspapers? I heard that said, and I find it a little suspect. I didn't see any advertisements or see a setup that even benefitted walk in crowds. This is Texas I can advertise a gun and knife show in prime time. Now sex games con? That I could see someone raising hell, but I doubt it would stop a paid ad being run.

My guess is sights were set higher with goals of maybe Catan, or **** I dunno scrabble, events running side by side and war was dropped for that reason.

I'm glad War is back in the title, let's all wear the pants that fit.

As someone who was part of that decision, that is not correct. The idea last year was to expand the convention to a wider audience, including board games, so the name wanted to reflect that.

Also, the original name of the convention is BoLSCon.

Reece is running it so full LVO rules will probably be the rule set. Get ready to play Reecehammer(Frontline Gaming Battle Mats *required plug*)

I'd expect the rules to look like Alamos, as those are the newest ITC set. LVO was probably the last ITC event with source limitation, but you should should probably just be bitter for some reason, John.
