I had a blast on Sat. Great to meet people and get some games in.
I'm definitely in for the team tournament. I think it will be the second Sat of Oct.

This one started at 6P and went till 10p, i believe.
I also had a blast - though i got my ass handed to me. Every game was great though. Daniel won with a pack of ties/tie-Is, running Soontir and Turd. I went against him, and due to a gamble and some crappy dice, i got hammered - the only NOT close game I had. He was well positioned when the gamble failed and took very good advantage of it. Great game.

I agree, lots of fun to play in a more competitive setting and meet some new people. I wish I could say my win was due to expert flying but all three games I had some lucky combat rolls, including something like 10 out of 12 dice get hits or crits against one of Brad's Y-wings to take it out before it got a shot off. Otherwise his Falcon and 2 Y-wing build was gonna be tough for my Imps.
I'm pretty sure they said the date for the next tourney is October 12 which unfortunately means I'm out due to Austin City Limits festival. In the meantime, I'm still up for the madness that would be a 3v3 match next time we've got enough at DL
So are there any details on the team aspect? Like both have to be the same faction? Or everyone has to have YT-1300s?
The discussion at the last tourney was 150 per team, divided anyway you want between the two, and i believe a maximum of two large ships was discussed. I don't remember much else.
