    ROUND 3: 40K Escalation League @ DL Apr 9 - Apr 22

Looks like a few Round 2 games were missed-- you folks get 0's until you play them. Catch up! (Yes, I'm talking to myself)

Please leave feedback on the Round 1 mission there: https://www.centexwar.com/warroom/sh...4601#post64601
Not a lot of feedback on the first mission. Should we do something really different for the third?

    Round 3

    Sloth v. Nate668
    Hogleg v. CRP
    Cavematt v. TxPlays
    ViscountAlexandru v. DandyPandy
    morella888 v. Sid
    RealGenius v. Darkwynn

Please post results here when done.

    Mission 3: Incursion Offensive

    Armies: 1000 points
Battlefield: 4x4 table, Dawn of War Deployment. Roll off to pick deployment zones.
    Objectives:
    • Invasion: Score 1 Victory Point for each of your units inside your opponent's deployment zone at the end of the game. Each unit with the Objective Secured rule scores an additional point.
    • Annihilation: Score 1 Victory Point for each enemy unit that has been completely destroyed (including Independent Characters and Dedicated Transports). Units that are falling back or not on the board at the end of the game, count as destroyed for the purposes of this objective.

Deployment: Standard Deployment method (pg 132)
First Turn: The player that set up first can choose to take the first or second turn. If they decide to take the first turn, their opponent can Seize.
Special Rules: Variable Game Length, Reserves, Night Fighting
Victory Conditions: Victory Points per the Objectives above. Slay the Warlord, First Blood and Linebreaker count as 1 VP each.

Feel free to use this mission or play your own generated from the book, modified for smaller armies. 1000 point games are sometimes one-sided affairs, so play for fun.

The following League-wide rules are in effect:
All models have Preferred Enemy: Unpainted. Unpainted means fewer than three colors, primer counts as a color.
All models not completely assembled always move as if they are in difficult terrain.
