Official Wonko's Inquisition Wars campaign rules and FAQ

    The Inquisition wars

    Story line:
Rumors of a once thought to be lost system have gained the interest of the Inquisition. A group of planets known as the Dow system have reportedly surfaced in the Segmentum Tempestus after a violent warp storm. The system is said to have several hidden vaults that contain rare and powerful weapons. It is said that in the later days of the Scouring that relics deemed to be too dangerous were hidden by the Inquisition. The location of the system containing these artifacts was never recorded and legend has it that the system had disappeared into the warp. If these are the relics thought to have been lost forever it is of great importance that they be recovered. If they were to be discovered they would pose a great threat to the Imperium.

    Your Inquisitor:
Your Inquisitor will lead your army into the Dow system to recover the powerful artifacts believed to be hidden there. Do to the importance of the mission several other Inquisitors have joined you to help in the recovery. As always do not be too trusting as some have enlisted the help of xenos warbands while others are said to be working for the dark powers of Chaos.
Your inquisitor is a free addition to your army and must always be the warlord. He may role on the warlord tables in the rule book or in your army’s codex. Your inquisitor will gain additional wargear and buffs throughout the campaign. Your Inquisitor counts as a battle brother for your army.

    House rules:
Invisibility – units attacking invisible units will do so at WS and BS 1
D weapons – when rolling on the D table subtract 1 from the result (to a minimum of 1) this is cumulative to any other modifiers.
Ravenwing – Any HQ unit on a bike chosen from codex Dark Angels counts as having the Ravenwing special rule.
Forgeworld – All Forgeworld units are allowed. If you bring a Forgeworld unit you must bring a copy the rules for it for the judge and your opponent.
Lords of War: Only one LOW per army is allowed and cannot exceed 25% of the total points cost of your army. The one exception to this rule is armies consisting entirely of Imperial Knights. (This is not recommended because Imperial Knights may not be able to participate in all missions.)

    FAQ:
Are only Imperial forces allowed to play?
No, you may attach your Inquisitor to any army you want to play
Do I have to play the same list every month?
No, feel free to mix it up
