well if 18 people are playing in the campaign and at least 3 people are not who either are on centex and chose not to or are not on centex then i would say that we should not stop our organized play on account of 3 people vs 18

There are two games a turn and each turn last three weeks. Most of us will be doing a pickup at least one week out of three.
The campaign also only requires 2 games every 3 weeks, so even campaign players aren't always playing campaign games ...
I like how you guys are assuming every person in the campaign is at the store on those days they are not playing their campaign games....
I think where the problem comes in is that some people try to play both campaign games in one night or spend half of their night waiting around for their opponent and their opponent is late or doesn't show. This results in campaign players and non-campaign players missing a game.
This is like saying it harms the community when people bring xwing on Thursday's instead of 40K
Let's do this. Let's see if DL has a dry erase board. If you need an opponent put your name and points on the board. This will make it easier for players to get games without having that awkward moment. We used to do this for a pool night I used to run and it works.
Also, with the amount of people there last week I have to wonder how much of this " I can't find an opponent" is actually "I can't find an opponent that I know or want to play."
Instead of tearing things down, let's try to make thing work first.
