I discussed with the events team tonight. I think we'll try a signup clipboard on top of the extra supply drawers. One of the plastic display holders can be used there to make it more obvious. Something with a big arrow that says "Looking for Game signup here".
It sounds like a decent start. We'll iterate on the idea from there.
Why don't you hang the board where the WHFB product used to be. Wide open, visible, and an added zing to the square basers.
You think I'm not going to come in and play x-wing on a thursday night though, you can go **** yourself. :p

Store says you can, you can!
Besides, it seems the people playing x-wing aren't there to play 40k anyhow, so it is a moot point entirely.

X-Wing was used as an example because several of the regular 40K players and at least one irregular 40K player play X-wing on Thursday nights. Chris was concerned that players could not find an opponent because of the campaign, Chris is one of the 40K/X-Wing players. I see where the OP was going.
Regardless of weather or not I am playing Xwing that night has no bearing on my original point at all.
So, you don't see the parallel there? What if I want a game and you are playing X-Wing? How is that different than if you are playing a campaign game? It's all the same, either I wait, find another opponent or go home without a game.
