Assembled and based (they are primed now too, but no pic of that)
PS. What the hell is the image size limit on CenTex? Whatever it is its way too low, cause I have yet to successfully get an image small enough to load (except my avatar!)

Looking good. But Ninja Hit Squad reminds me of a band from the early 90's.
I'm jealous of the bases...
Are the bases your design or someone else's? If not yours than whose?
They look hand done and cast. I love them, and I'm so jealous I may have to re-base what I have already done. You get a well deserved
'I hate you'. Well done sir.
Thanks! The bases aren't mine. I debated for a while about making some, but i didn't want this to be a huge project. I wanted simple urban/sci-fi bases - these are from Fenris Games (I got them off their Ebay Store)
And Screw you Jay! They are already past this stage. I don't think I am going to go nuts on them - basic paint job and done.
Will these be painted Circa 2050? Maybe when Robo Ninjas are truly invented
Nah by then we will have self painting models.
Anyone that doesn't have a fully painted and based 300 point Infinity force done before me, owes me a beer of my choice! Or...you can shut the hell up ;)
Nick has to pay some one else to paint his minis. Does anyone rember what his dark angels looked like when he first got to Austin? It's truly best that he pays some one else.
I have to agree, Nick's Dark Eldar look really nice.
He's got some nice Soul Drinkers as well.
Still waiting for Ninja Hit Squad's first EP to drop.
nick only paints well if he is locked in a cabin for two weeks.
This thread made me giggle.
And yes Chris I do pay for most of my armies because my time is important to me.
With Nick is implied? :D
Hey admin! can we rename this thread to Hate on Nick's "throw money at it cause my time is too important" Mini Painting thread.
I'll just start a new thread when I have an update on the Hit Squad.
no, it just implies to me Mike. If I said everyone was like that I could see your point. It takes me two weeks if not 100 hours to paint my Dark Eldar when I was locked up. That was pure high focus time with no interruptions. The chance of that happening while I am here is slim to none. Which on top of that would probably be spread out to a couple of months. This does not leave to be a peaceful interaction with me because of frustrations that come along with stopping and starting.
Or I can work for a 3 days get a lot more accomplished and pay for a army that would be painted to a high standard. It also allows me to do other things that I can accomplish.
My last comment wasn't bagging on you. It was friendly banter between me and Jim. I personally don't have an issue with you paying for paint jobs it's your money. I really do get it. Had I a job where I could afford it I might do the same. Furthermore I think your a pretty decent painter.
Am I the only one who doesn't ****ing care who paints who's army??
As someone who's been on all three sides of the argument I can definitely say WHO CARES?!
I enjoy painting so I prefer painting my own armies. However, I've also had an army painted. I know that had I not gotten it painted by someone else, it would still be in bare metal form to this day. As someone who really likes seeing painted armies of any quality on the table, I prefer being part of the solution if I can.
Man, I so want to join in on this. But, then I would get accused of being an asshole.........Oh snap!
