If another party besides red/blue got the vote, how long before they were corrupt too?
To vote or not to vote? Yes, voting is important. But to think things will ever get better is a far shot.
Are you kidding? Other parties are usually corrupted WAY before they receive any vote at all.
Libertarian Party: Great idea...until it was taken over by the Alex Jones/George Noory, black helicopter, UFO crowd.
Tea Party: Another great idea...until it was taken over by ultra right wing nut jobs who think Sarah Palin is the best thing since sliced bread.
Green Party: Kinda cool...until it was taken over by the anti-establishment/anti-capitalism/kill all "Big-(insertindustrialorcorperationyou dontlikehere)" commie a$$holes.
The list goes on and on.
The prop was poorly thought out and had some unfortunate possible loop holes, it's really better that it didn't pass. Leaving regulation/taxation on such things to "local government" would have been a disaster. It needs state regulation if they're going to legalize. That, and, well, it still would have been illegal thanks to the CSA.
Also: no ruling against discussions on politics and religion? Interesting.
Yeah, politics and religion is allowed, but we all got it out of our system pretty quickly.
