Heck yeah i am!
It looks like fun, I like the 2 sides idea. I know which one I'll be! I like the route they took with league models this time, not changing what the models do, just adding a new ability based on what side you chose.
I might have the time for this. A shield guarded Juggernaut is going to be very fun.
I've been thinking about getting back into WMH and a league sounds like fun. What is the typical weekly schedule for a league? Is once a week enough to get games in?
Well if the Austin scene is the same as before, you probably won't get your maximum 5 games a week in on one day, but you'll totally be able to get in 2-3 if you go on Wednesday. At the very least you get a participation patch regardless!
gotta play smaller games and throw caution to the wind and go balls deep for the win..... Then you can get your 5 games in on one night. I plan on doing it that way during the league this time around.
I just took a quick look at the rules and scoring chart. Sounds like playing multiple smaller point games is more beneficial than fewer, larger games. Makes sense to me.
Is there a limit on the number of games per week that count towards scoring? EDIT: Answered my own question: first 5 games. Reading the rules is a good idea.
I also see there are points for painting. What if you start the league with painted models?
according to the league documents only your first 5 games each week count for scoring.
for painting they have to be done during the league, no previously painted models count. just show your models to Cody at the beginning of the league and then again when they're painted. at least that's how we normally do it
Yep, painting during the league.
Sounds like there's interest, I'll check with DL about league kits.
