Thats a nice figure. I really like the way the blue and steel colors go together.
Yeah, I might do a Tyrant's Legion. I wanted to do them way back when, but they were already "taken".

What foundations are you using for this one?
Mordian Blue and Deneb Stone. I used Bleached Bone as my previous "white" for Novas and it was too yellow. The Stone is nice.
I changed up the list: 25 total to repaint, plus the IA special character with the chainfist. In the end it will be 27 with the Librarians Termie. But with the two special characters all the Terminators will be scoring, and one of them will count as Troops. :)
And I'm a little tired of looking at the legion of black dudes. Even with just the base coat the Nova guy looks "more done", and the lighter colors will give lots more ability to do some weathering, shading, etc.
Of course, that's if I'm not wrapped up in a straight jacket after painting 25 quartered schemes.
Jim, I was talking to Chris about how you keep changing, and painting new SM armies... In the end, what different Badab armies do you plan to end up with?
My Black Templars, existing Nova Librarian, and a Sternguard squad I originally intended to be Novas (along with their Razorback) are going to be probably 2000 points of Novamarines ("Novawing" because they'll have scoring Terminators). Maybe an AoBR dread as well.
I have the Huron and some Honor Guard parts, so I'll do tiny Astral Claws unit that can be used for WAR Games Con Narrative. Maybe 500 pts worth. I was going to make a Legion army, but didn't really get inspiration from making a few lists. It ended up being less interesting than I originally thought. And, I got interested in...
An all jump Fire Hawks army. There's not a lot of Fire Hawks out there and I'm really into orange lately, and their red-orange scheme appeals to me. I'm going to make both their special characters. I just ordered twenty Assault Marines, ten Sanguinary Guard and five Vanguard Vets from Spikey Bits. It will be built like my BT army: all new stuff, built to a list; my first "new" army project in a while. I don't think I'll get it finished for WGC, but I'll try. I'll use it as Fire Hawks in Apoc Games (no Troops), but normally it will probably be Blood Angels.
I haven't gotten a chance to check the new IA books, but I do have a small 1k force of Marines Errant
Im working on my star phatoms for the wargamescon mirror match. Bols paint scheme too. I have the new book and I dont like the new scheme.
I have 5 guys done so far, ill try to post some pictures soon. Im excited about them.

Although I came across a Novamarine (think it was Warseer), where the whole army was reversed, all 1500 points or so worth. I didn't have the heart to tell him.
