Just lookin for basic tips on using a Dremel. What are the best bit sizes and shapes exc? What should I use to create impact craters into my Aegis Defence Line? What do other people use their Dremel for?
I put a swizzle stick in mine and use it to mix drinks.
While you can make shot impact craters with a Dremmel the better tool is various size drill bits and an xacto.
The cone shaped bits work well, too.
That is what I was thinking too. There is also a bit that just has a round ball tip.
The ball tip engraver/cutter isn't bad. I think the cone may be better or drill and xacto.Quote:

Your welcome to borrow my Dremel Kingsley. I don't use it that often and there isn't anything on my desk I need it for right now.
The thing I know most about Dremel tools is that when I need to use it the battery needs to be recharged.
I may have been doing it wrong. I put the battery in the charger when not in use.
I'm so old school mine has a cord. And only works when you plug in.
