When I played a ton of confrontation it saw use cutting the slotta off flush and drilling foot pins into metal feet. Works well for pinning large Warmachine models too. I think I pinned the old metal Demon Princes with it. I've used to to strip models (after soaking use the brass wire head) to get a perfect surface to start with. There are ton of uses for the thing.
I'm looking for an old dremel 580 Table Saw.
Harbor Freight sells a 4" table saw for $40.
The reviews on that thing tend to reflect it being under powered, even to point of having difficulty cutting 1/2" plywood. Trying to use to cut plastic would be a stretch I think. I'd love a Byrnes, Proxxon or MicroLux but I'm not spending 250.00+ on one. I keep watching the 580's on ebay.
My work has one that I borrow from time to time.
Plastic card and MDF so far. You're welcome to try mine if you want.
I'd love to.
I'll dig it out and bring it Thursday.
