Yep, although with Madrak in there, it's like having four pretty versatile light 'beasts -- hell, he hits harder than any of the others (both melee and ranged) and can almost take out a heavy 'jack in one turn by himself. And with Surefoot, the ability to shunt damage, and his scroll, he's amazingly durable.Quote:

I guess I'm also operating on the assumption that the included dire troll would be the Mauler (as that's kind of the basic DT) ... If so, not only is it frightening in melee with 5 fury available, but its animus -- +3 strength -- kicks ass. I shiver at the thought of Madrak with a thrown P+S 18 (with the chance of a second attack if he killed his first target). As it is, I've almost assassinated 'casters with a surprise 12" (Impaler animus) P+S 15 ranged attack -- that extra few points would've probably ended the game in two to three rounds ...
Okay, yes, I'm all in for the DT box set. :D
I think it's the price that set the box's contents, which is sad. Trollbloods are expensive.

I thought about Swamp Gobbers or even a Feralgeist (awesome with Dires in scenarios), I even have them painted already, but I'd rather add a 2 point thing at the second level.
