Ok, my copy is at home but I was passing a bookstore and stopped. The culmination of the Red Wedding is on pg.583 as Cat has ber throat cut. The culmination of Joff's wedding is on pg 684. The book is 924 pages long (all pages specific to the printing Im holding. I think mi e at home was over 1000 pages, maybe im misremembering though).
In any event not muc separates the two weddings, maybe 10-15% of the toral pages separates them. Translated to the show that would be 3 episodes, and the RW came in ep9 of last season. Joff's wedding will end either episode 2 or 3, I'm telling you.
They did preview that last episode. But yea they could stretch it over two episodes. You may be right about page numbers but what about substance? There wasn't much after joefferies wedding that, I as the reader, cared about. At least I don't remember it.
There's more than you can remember. From the day after Joffrey's wedding you still have quite a bit of political intrigue, a trial over some issue, several deaths of moderate to big characters, plus outside of King's landing you have the happenings at the wall, the happenings around Dany (and Dany's storyline is lagging behind where it was in the book at this point unless I'm mistaken, so I expect some focus on her), plus we have the extra-literary storylines that weren't in the book as far as Aysha who is going after Theon right now (in the books Theon disappeared the day Winterfell fell to the Boltons and doesn't appear again for a few books), as well as I think we are going to follow Stannis more closely than the books where he disapeared for a time as well.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Yea!
Just a small climax just for you FerroMike :P

We can all stop Hating Jack Gleeson now, poor kid. Also did anyone else catch Christian Bale as a Lord that was hanging out in the shadows of the wedding? Of course not. Cause Batman didn't want you to see him. Duh.
