You don't have to shutter them all at once, and not even all of them in the UK. Just let leases expire and fire those folks and have their last task be to ship inventory to wherever. To them the US is probably like 50 different countries, because of all the state regulations they have to comply with.

I agree I think they work better there, but I don't know well enough to say.

I can only go by my own experience, and the GW retails stores were not the place I learned about the hobby. My boss' son just got into Orks, he learned from a friend and buys stuff at DL. I told him there was a GW store in south Austin and he was shocked.
