Can you make 2nd edition heavy weapons?
I can. Can you afford $70 an hour for sculpting them?
Can you look for the ones you claimed you had somewhere?
That's pretty decent quality right there.
So if we make a game, I know we can have rats at least. :D
I kid, I kid. Awesome stuff man.
That looks really good!
How much does the ink or what ever you call the stuff that comes out if that replicator cost?
Its a UV cured Resin. It costs about 150 bucks a liter, but a print uses very little. There are also some 3rd party brands that are about 75.
Very nicely done, looks awesome.
I added a photo of the primed print and a few extras (including a 15mm looted Rhino)
Damn, that looted Rhino makes me want to play Epic scale!
Next print run is ready to go. Doing some 10mm Battlemech Suits.

That looks great!
What printer did you buy?
Its a Form1 from FormLabs.
Just finished cleaning the Mechsuit prints. I accidentally printed these on the lowest resolution setting, but I think they turned out fine. Just need to assemble and prime them. FYI, those bases are 25mm squares.
The models look shiny (both in a general and in a Firefly sense). How well do they hold paint ?
If you prime them, they hold paint just fine. They can be a bit slick/shiny in places, I am trying a couple of techniques to reduce that during the curing phase, but its mostly a visual thing - shiny make it harder to see the detail and any areas you need to clean. Often I find the model looks fine, and then when you prime it, and knock down the shine, you notice areas you needed to trim or clean better.
nice!
What is the size of those?
Thanks, Brad.
Those bases are 25mm squares.
Nice.
The paint is finally going on. I hope to finish them this week.
Again, those look very nice.
And now they are Award Winning (TM)!
Congrats, after seeing them in person, they are really well done.
Very nice brushwork there BDub!
Superb product and painting Billy!
Thanks, fellas. I think I'm going to do some Tanks next.
