I like the purple you used. I'm not sure if it's the lighting in your pictures, but is that yellow or gold from the trim?

It is a very clean job. I would suggest a wash of some sort, and once the wash has dried go back through and highlight key areas. This should make the detials stand out better giving the whole thing an overall appearance that catches the eye.
