GW to Realease a New FAQ.
-
This is a sign of the end of world!(of 40k)
GW actually caring about rules in even the slightest way!?
I want to get my hopes up, but I just somehow know they are going to somehow nerf the already bad armies like they did with the last FAQ. (just watch. Dark Eldar are going to take a gut shot)
Still its worth it if we get some clarity on the ambiguous stuff.
-
ask them if monstrous creatures get toe in cover
what about levels in a ruin and blast markers
-
i give it a month or two before they drown in the whhharlgarrbl!

Why does a Space Wolf Dreadnought only have 2 attacks?
-
why can a space wolf dreadnought take a storm shield

That is in the codex. They are super marines.

Not that super, they only have 2 attacks. My Ironclads laugh at them.

Because it only makes sense that after 10k years at least 1 marine chapter realized that giving their giant walking slabs of metal another tiny piece of metal triples its durability.
How this works noone knows. The Mechanicus are also still trying to figure out why the shield only blocks from the front when the shield arm could never physically be able to aim the shield anywhere but left.
The real reason is that Storm Shields are in fact Draigo's toe nail clippings and retain a portion of his plot armour. And the Shield Eternal is simply an autographed toe nail clipping.

Fixed

The frost shield is the only way to run SW dreads. Don't put me in a box, bro.

"(just watch. Dark Eldar are going to take a gut shot)"
This made me laugh because it's true....

The last FAQ before the ravenwing was them nerfing Archon Shadowfields. It wasn't even a RAW issue either.
They decided Feel no Pain doesn't count as "passing" the invulnerability save. It is the only exception to the Feel no Pain rule that I know of, and they released this like 2 weeks after completely gutting Archons in the new book.
It was kind of a pointless nerf because no sane person would ever take an Archon after the nerfs, but it does make you wonder why they bothered to do it.

They knew cheese balls out there would be allying Eldar and DE.
See it's not that difficult when you look at it objectively. :)

I don't know whats worse.
They nerfed/removed Dark Eldar HQs into the ground because they could be allied to Eldar.
or
They have no idea what they are doing.
-
DE HQs are a huge liability. You have to put them in a transport because they are the only army that doesn't have a jump pack or bike option, but there aren't any good units to put them with in transports either. They aren't comparatively good in combat and don't buff their squad, let alone the army. The army just wants to be venoms, raiders and ravagers, which surprise! are awesome additions to Eldar.
I'm not complaining because my Eldar army is really good because of DE, but the DE part isn't cool.
