More Feedback on wood and foam terrain

It's not tall enough. What I mean here is Heavy Grenade launchers can speculative shot all day long and even the tallest terrain that is in this set doesn't stop them. The shadow zone is to small. Also the stuff is falling apart. You need to use Liquid Nails Foam Board glue.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

The adhesive is a known issue. Spray glue time saver experiment was a fail. As I repair I'm using liquid nails or other industrial adhesive.

I'll look into the height issue and get back to you. I'm not willing to put 24" or even 12" pieces in the center to cast a long shadow unless forced to. I'll do some research and get back to you.

If it's really a problem, we can house rule that we'll treat them all as being twice as tall.

It's not that we need pieces in the middle but that HGL's really are that good and if the terrain turns the meta into HGL as a must take then we have a problem. The two inch walls are next to worthless with the HGL/LGL while the 3.5 walls at least allow models to duck behind them.

I'll look at making some 2" risers for the current pieces that will bring them up higher and possibly making some 6-6.5" tall wall segments. That should allow everything to case at least a 4" shadow. Will that help?

Beyond the HGL issues how does it play?

I need to make some more ladders, and then, with the height differences possibly some flat walkway pieces that can be used as either walkways between segments or sloped ramps for walkways between differing heights.

HGL/LGL issues aside the terrain plays fine. I think ladders and walkways will finish this off great. I'm not a huge fan of the laser-tag arena vibe it has because buildings are cooler, but understand and appreciate it's utility.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the Aesthetics, I like terrain to tell a story, but I was really concerned with playability. I have some ideas for detailing that might help a little but it's always going to have kind of vibe.
