    skittari + imperial guard army?

    Hi
I mainly play whfb but I wanna start a 40k army soon. I wanna play armagedden steel legion but they dont have any HQ models. I really like the skittari models. Is it possible to have a armaggeden steel legion army and a skittari army together. Like you can have imperial guard and tempestus together. I would have skittari as my hq choice. I think the army would look awesome. I think fluff wise would work as well because armagedden is a forgeworld. I think armageden steel legion models look so cool. Way cooler than the space ball Cadians. It kills me that they dont have as many model choices.

Just kit bash the Lt/Sgt models or use Krieg model for SL HQs.

The answer is yes. yes you can. It is also one of the very few allies that actually make sense compared to some of the things we see lately.

We live in a time where its completely fine if your main detachment can be Daemons with a Deathwatch Strike Team Formation and a Tyranid 3 flying hive tyrant formation because its the new black. The only con to doing this is that your dudes are going to be like "I've got my eye on you! don't try nothing funny now!". (Say screw it and also throw in an allied Grey Knights army led by Draigo because your army needs a dude to teleport your **** around)

Sorta and sorta not. I'm mostly joking overall

But I do wish allies weren't allowed for anything but casual games.

Its hard to see the game as anything but number crunching sometimes when half of the armies I play against nowadays have allies that make no sense and are only there because they have x ability or are super under costed. (I fall into this group from time to time if only to stand a chance on the top tables)

I personally feel the game would just feel "better" if people were forced to play without allies. But that is a minor personal opinion. I will play anyways and won't handicap myself too much over it

Oh aye, I'm not a fan of random crazy allies either. Last time I think I even took allies was inquisition in sisters of battle.

I do agree that some ally combos are just painful to see . CTA Aliies are the most insane

    I hate anti-fluff AKA CTA.
