    IKRPG Custom Character

    Ran amuck in the Privateer Press parts store to kitbash up this model for any Iron Kingdoms game I might eventually partake in (because, short of the gm saying something like "NO TROLLS," there's very little chance I wouldn't start off with a trollkin Fell Caller/Ranger).

    Very cool. But you need to add some shots from the other sides so I can continue to quiz myself on what all you bodged.

    I tried some back shots, but none of them came out very well at the time. The model is made of the following parts:

    Torso and legs
    2 Shoulders
    Right Arm
    Left Arm
    Head
    Bow
    Quiver
    Arrows

    What all have you identified?

    Okay, for the life of me I can't recognize that bow, and I'm going to claim not enough evidence on the shoulders and quiver ...

    Torso and legs = runeshaper
    2 Shoulders = ?
    Right Arm = pHoarluk?
    Left Arm = scout leader
    Head = scattergunner?
    Bow = ?
    Quiver = ?
    Arrows = Lylyth?

    Are gobber heads roughly the same size as human ones (on the miniatures at least)? I've seen some great third party gas masks for an alchemist.

    Anywho:
    Torso: Runeshaper
    Shoulders: kallus
    Right arm: eDoomshaper
    Left arm: troll scout leader
    Head: scattergunner
    Quiver and bow: nephilim bolt thrower (the bow is actually that part of it's crossbow).
    Arrows: striders

    So apparently he joined a raid on the legion for some phat purple lootz. All the body pieces are trollblood, while all the individual weapon and armor pieces are legion of everblight.

    I like it a lot. Or Everblight was having a garage sale. At first I thought the bow might have had some helljack legs attached, but I wasn't thinking about the bolt thrower ...

    I think they may be a little larger, since scale-wise, most of the figures seem to be a little exaggerated from the fluff descriptions and various illustrations. And unfortunately, there aren't a lot of choices: Reinholdt, 2 Swamp Gobbers, 2 Cygnar Field Mechaniks, and Gul the gobber rogue (IK figure). My ideal would be the gobber from the trollblood exclusive model, but he's pretty much covered with that pesky kilt ...

    Where are the gas masks you mentioned? If they're close in size, I may just have one hanging from a belt so that I can still get expressive with the face.

    As for his trusty light laborjack sidekick, I'm thinking about basing it on the Talon or Buccaneer with some of the armor filed off and/or one of the more generic Cygnar light 'jack heads.

    Hmm, can't remember where all the masks are. I just keep stumbling across them and thinking they might be cool for a miniature. A quick search sadly shows a lot of them are based in europe.
