    Starting Cryx!!

That's right, I said it....I'm starting Cryx. It won't be anywhere near cheesy like the stigma they have but I think what I have in mind will hold it's own.

I have no idea what inspired me exactly but I want to run an all pirate cryx army. for my first 35 pts I have planned is :

    eSkarre

    Seether
    Skarlock Thrall
    Necrosurgeon
    Blackbanes
    Captain Rengrave
    Revenant Crew
    Full Satyxis Raiders + UA
    Satyxis Captain
    Warwitch Siren

I proxied this list last night against ben and it did better than my legion does against him! Overall it was really fun but I would like some advice or notes on the list if anyone has any.

I was running close to this before I got really busy and had to stop playing for a while.

    eSkarre is pretty nasty...

Yea, i dont really need it. The skarlock can fill the same roll and that frees up 5 pts for an awesome solo and more satyxis!

ah ok. yeah warwitch sirens are annoying. I couldn't remember if you had a full unit of raiders or not

although, giving up the arc node doesn't seem like its worth a few more raiders. skarlock thralls fill a different role. they take some focus burden off and cast spells, but they certainly don't expand your offensive range. against some armies, you may not want Skarre close enough to be casting your spells on any turn other than feat turn. also, some armies have good magic defense that will really hurt if you can't cast through a node. like lamentation from Menoth, skarre doesn't want to have to pay double for her cool stuff and still try to run a 'jack

he also takes a bit of heat off of your seether. not a ton of heat, but some. if the little guy hadn't been there, I would have been very happy during our game.
