    Guidelines for Pickup games

This area covers Central Texas, when you are posting information about pick up games please do the following:

The location you are looking to play at: Austin, San Antonio, Ceder Park? What region? People need to understand where you are going to be at to respond.

Game System: Warmachine, Malifaux, Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Battletech?

Level of play: Beginner, intermediate, tournament , or Beer and pretzel's aka fun. It is best to set expectations with people to understand what type of game you are looking for.

After reading this I have decided that the movie "Pineaple Express" should redo one of its quotes from:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Jude Law."

    To:

"But if you do something heroic then you'll come back as like an eagle or a dragon, or Nick Rose."

A few weeks ago I posted for a WMH P.U.G for a Thursday and the only response I got was that it was going to be Warhammer night. Are we not supposed to look for a pug on another system's night?

You can totally look for a game on any night you wish. The challenge will be finding a table. With Warhammer dominating most of the available tables on Thursday, along with those Infinity pimps taking some as well; it might be hard to get some games in. Although, if you get there early, as in before 6PM, you should be golden.

Thank you. Wed is just the busiest night of the week for me, and I'm really trying to get more games in. I have so many lists I've been painting and working on it would be nice to actually roll dice from time to time.

I'm torn on the matter. While it hasn't been an issue recently, i could see people getting upset when they go up on a thursday night expecting to get a 40k game in only to find some tables taken up by other games. There is a reason why it's "40k" night on thursday.

Reason why those tables are reserved for 40k. It is an issue for Dragon lair to solve not us. They own the space.

They should have open tables that any game can be played on, if I'm not mistaken. Just make sure your on one of those tables and you should be fine. Just make sure you get there early enough to get one of those tables.
