When CA and green stuff don't work... magnets

I have a GW Finecast (resin) Librarian that I broke the staff when giving it its first cleaning. I tried reattaching it with super glue, which worked, but proved to be very fragile and it snapped again when I was handling it and again when I accidentally dropped it onto the carpet. My next idea was to use some green stuff, but I don't think I was able to use enough to hold it and not make it obvious there was green stuff there.

    My solution. Magnets. 1mm x 1mm magnets.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this, but I wanted to share in case anyone else runs into this problem.

Not a terrible solution. I would've pinned it myself.

I didn't have anything to pin it with so I used what I had handy.

Nice clean magnet job, always good to see. As stated above I would have just pinned it.

Not a single paperclip in your entire house?

The magnets were sitting in front of me. I would have had to look for a paper clip. The last time we bought any, my wife was in school and that was about seven years ago.
