Legion of Everblight. .... Spell Martyrs

They looked cool. So, I painted them up last night. Now to build a Legion of Everblight horde around them.

Haha yea no. Get one for looks but not any serious gaming. If you feel like seeing your awesome center piece model get crushed every game....then do that.

Oh, I would like to have an Archangel. I however seriously doubt it would leave the display shelf of my apartment. It is just that beautiful of a model.

I bought these guys on a whim. Was looking for something to paint that wasn't WarHammer, or 40K. Something about the model just kinda called to me. Now I want to paint up a little Hordes faction around them. Now that I have my evenings free. Maybe even start going to Dragons Lair, and learn to play Hordes.

I really like those. If you enjoy the aesthetic but don't need to go overboard competitively just yet, you might have fun working on a 'lock theme list. Not sure if these guys go with anyone specific offhand, but such a list might use models with a similar look. Granted, theme lists aren't always the best for winning, but they do look cool ...

    Thank you.

I like the look of Everblight, but not real sure if it will work with my play style. Only one way to find out I guess. I plan to buy the $100 starter set they have at Dragons Lair with in the next paycheck or two. That will give me two factions I love the looks of. ( Something Games Workshops never done with a boxed stater. ) After which, I will pick up the actual rule book, and get more serious about this.

I have about 25 pts. of Khador. May start trying to get out and play with them again until I can get my Hordes factions painted. Tired of being a wall flower among the gaming community in Austin.
