    Painting Form (form modeling)

Scott Waddell gives the best explanation I have seen of how to model form in paint by evaluating light falling on basic forms. This way of looking and applying paint coincides perfectly with what we are trying to do in a miniature painting (except we have the added benefit of having our forms in 3 dimensions right on the mini!).

    Enjoy.

Man, this guy cheats. He's got like...classical jamz kicking in the background that let him rock the canvas.

I'm totally hypnotized watching it. And a little creeped out by the eye video-- very realistic.

By chroma, is he just talking about the color/color purity?

Yeah. Chroma is that actual color regardless of value tint or shade.
