I'm not sure if this is actually version 4 or not, but who's counting? (Clearly, not me.)

Anyway, I've got two concepts here that I'm playing around with. One of them builds off the previous tournament list, incorporating jetbikes and fire dragons to give me more freedom of motion than the prior list in exchange for almost all of my long-range firepower.

155 - Avatar
210 - Eldrad
200 - Fire Dragons (10)
-> Exarch w/ firepike, crack shot, tank hunters
187 - Howling Banshees (10)
-> Exarch w/ executioner, acrobatic
172 - Harlequins (7)
-> 4x Harlequin's kiss, Shadowseer
381 - Wraithguard (10 + warlock)
-> Spiritseer
100 - Guardians (10)
-> Eldar Missile Launcher
100 - Guardians (10)
-> Eldar Missile Launcher
152 - Guardian Jetbikes (6)
-> 2x Shuriken Cannon
193 - Warp Spiders (8)
-> Exarch w/ 2x death spinners

This list accepts that I'm just going to go forward and run until I get to 12", then hopes to make something happen with the shooting phase and counter-assault there. The guardians and/or jetbikes screen for the columns of anti-tank short range fire, with the banshees and harlequins hold in back to counter-assault. Against a long-range fire army like guard or tau, the harlequins will actually take the front and provide cover while remaining invincible via veil of tears. Fortune goes on the wraithguard (or banshees) and Avatar, guide goes on the jetbikers until something gets in range of doom / assault.

--------------------------------

Alternatively, this throws back to an earlier version of the list and builds from there. I think I've actually caused more carnage with this earlier concept, where the assaulty stuff takes point and rather than having the counter-assault from hell I have a front designed to actually punch back and protect the scoring units in back. There's still some second-wave bite, and long-range shooting exists in the list.

155 - Avatar
210 - Eldrad
192 - Striking Scorpions (10)
-> Exarch w/ scorpion claw, stalker
192 - Howling Banshees (10)
-> Exarch w/ executioner, acrobatic, war shout
270 - Harlequins (10)
-> 10x Harlequin's kiss, 2x Fusion pistol, Shadowseer
100 - Guardians (10)
-> Eldar Missile Launcher
100 - Guardians (10)
-> Eldar Missile Launcher
100 - Guardians (10)
-> Eldar Missile Launcher
152 - Guardian Jetbikes (6)
-> 2x Shuriken Cannon
125 - Wraithlord
-> 2x Flamer, Eldar Missile Launcher, Wraithsword
125 - Wraithlord
-> 2x Flamer, Eldar Missile Launcher, Wraithsword
120 - War Walkers (2)
-> 4x Scatter Laser

This is basically Foot Eldar Super Punchout. Everything here except the troops and the war walkers wants to get in close and stab someone. Deployment will involve the guardian jetbikes and harlequins functioning as a screen for the banshees and scorpions, Eldrad will walk with the scorpions and fortune themselves / the avatar (situationally, the banshees will be fortuned instead), guiding the war walkers whenever he's in range. The wraithlords will follow along with the shadowseer and Eldrad. The guardians march along behind the line on foot, spewing random missiles and hoping for the best. I should be able to break at least one light transport from shooting between the war walkers and 5 EML shots each turn, and then just swarm whoever was inside. At short range I've got 3 melta shots (harlequins, avatar) who are all capable of getting a fairly reliable 6" move to advance into range if they're not already provided with something to punch.
