So wound allocation for dummies:

Same Save:
  1. Roll to Hit
  2. Roll to Wound
  3. Make Saves
  4. Allocate unsaved wounds to models beginning with closest models
  5. If a wound is allocated to a character make a single look out sir roll
  6. If successful the model that took the look out sir roll takes wound.
  7. Begin allocating again with the character who is now the closest. Repeat as necessary until all wounds are accounted for.

Mixed Save:
  1. Roll to Hit
  2. Roll to Wound
  3. Allocate Wounds to models beginning with closest models
  4. Make save for allocated wound. If the closest model is a character take look out sir as appropriate.
  5. If lookout sir is made, model makes save and is removed if save is failed.
  6. Allocate next wound beginning with closest model and repeat above until all wounds have been allocated.

Multi-wound models function the same way. Wounds are simply allocated to the closest multi-wound model until dead.

In a unit of multi-wound models, individual models attempt the look out sir, and when they succeed they take the wound/unsaved wound. Allocation begin again with the closest model and is repeated until all wounds/unsaved wounds are resolved.

Only a single model may attempt to make a look out sir roll for any given wound or unsaved wound.

Does this look correct?
