I am putting together a proposal for a City Wide Tournament League and wanted to see what the community interest level would be. We did this in Houston years ago and it was a lot of fun. You get to meet and play against players that you might not ever see otherwise. You also get to see what the meta is like at other stores. Here is how it would work:

Every Team would be associated with a Home Store , all stores in town that have gaming space will be invited to participate.
Each Team would consist of 3 Team Members. Teams can have one additional alternate member.
Stores can have multiple Teams.

There would be Home Games and Away Games. Yes, participants will be required to travel across town for some games. You may also play against another team that has the same Home Store.
Games would be set every two weeks at a different points level. This can be done at the players convenience. However, failure to play a game within the two week period results in a forfeit.
Point limits will vary.
Book Missions will be used to keep things consistent between the different stores.

3 games are to be played simultaneously against the opposing team. Each Team Captain will decide privately who plays on what table. So, you don't know who you are playing until you get to your table.
Scores are added to get a total for the 3 games played. Scores will be reported on a thread here on CenTexWar.

How many of you would be interested in this? It will require committing to play every other week for two and half hours plus travel time.
