    Help with colors

Starting to paint my Tohaa this week. I wanna use the colors from the book's art, but this particular yellow-ish orange color eludes me. Maybe a blend of the two?. Any suggestions from you "super" painter types?

You could also paint it in grayscale and wash with a yellow or orangey GW wash. Thin it down if you do, so yo can build it to the right level rather than ris over doing it. Or you could use a light tan instead of the grays. The trick is Light, light, light!

EDIT: So looking at the studio paints it totally looks like a super light tan or gray (tan would make it even warmer I think) with a wash like Ogryn Flesh, thinned way down and built up gradually. I would dry brush the tan/gray with a little white in the top areas before starting the wash build ups. Notice the washes are heavier and more built up on the lower parts of the fig. Have fun.

Thx guys. I did a test model that I didn't quite like. So I went with colors closer to the concept art.
