    Your quote sir!
You are reading into it. Its called a joke. It has nothing to do with any evaluation of the quality of the piece. It a clever way of introducing, or giving clues to the subject matter without disclosing the contents. It uses literary and comedic devices to underplay the significance, effort and quality of the actual endeavor - also nids sound like nads.

You are clearly too impressionable for this level of communication.

You may have intended it to be a joke but the way you wrote it does not convey that in as sarcastic a manner as you assumed it would have. Starting off the phrase with "Haha!" , implying you were laughing at the subject matter. Instead if you wrote, "Looks like Roman accidentally glued his 'nids together...silly Roman! Haha!", it would have better conveyed your meaning.

I am sorry, I have been around Nick too much to look at any writing with any amount of serious cerebral concentration!

Let me put it another way. I have no control over how you took it. So when I correct somebody who quotes me to clarify my position, I expect people to accept that position and not debate me about what I meant. No reasonable person would have construed my comment to mean i actually believed that and obviously superior and talented modeler/painter haphazardly glues his 'nids together, and that i was deriding him for it.

...and stop hanging out with Nick.

I thought the whole piece was pretty amazing. I looked at the first progress post and was like, "I didn't know there was a hive guard under the dread"? Haha

Dude it is amazing. I have been looking at the build up on this piece. It is insane and the amount of crazy lighting in there - the highlights... it is amazing.
