I'd say come to Warmachine or Malifaux or X-wing, they don't give two tosses about painting, but I know people tend to be very set in their games.

I'm a touch mired in GW, sadly. X-Wing is fun though. Maybe if I break down and clean house I can make the leap.

Because their events are not structured around a flawed hobby and competitive concepts and x-wing minis come pre painted so that does not count towards this issue because that game does not care about painting. JUST separate the events into the two different type hobby and heavy solves this issue on why / do my models need to be painted to win or get painting points...
