They are just too expensive to run them in (i think) any larger amounts than 2 because them and the guants they require (for maximum effectiveness) can become quite pricey really quickly
HAHA - I didn't know I broke anything... I dunno, against Eldar or Tau (or orks lol) or guard it could be alright. anyone with a 3 up save probably won't care. I was looking at the pyro's flamer last night. It's just a heavy flamer. str5 Ap4. The Tyrannofex is better with a flamer that's actually a torrent str 6 Ap4.
I think i was talking with Thomas about it and others - Basically nids are going to kill your troops. seriously, all of your troops. People's deathstar units and elites will have to do all the heavy lifting but if you have a unit of troops that isn't in a transports, it's dead. But it's not like anyone takes crap load of foot sloggers this edition, right>?!
Pfft - math. ROLL 6's PROBLEM SOLVED.with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

Hey mike likes to play vs painted stuff and the actual models - I can respect that. He spent a lot of time and effort into his Eldar and Tau and they look great. I know he enjoys the immersion factor of playing with painted stuff. nothing wrong with that!
I'd just like to borrow a few for the lulz mostly and to see if this works before I drop $100 on those GAWDAWFUL pyrovores.
