Looks good, like the finish you got on the purple. How did you do the shoulder studs?

Well the underlying color is Emperor's Children. I got this shade of purple with two coats of Druchii Violet and I just paid a little extra attention to how the wash pooled on it really. Nothing fancy.

Did you just paint on the rim then? That is what threw me, is that the normal studded pad doesn't have a rim...

Oh hey, I didn't notice that before, but you're right. Looks like the rim was freehanded on. Very nicely done, it didn't even register in my head that something was off.

Yeah, that's a nice detail. I've always hated he rimless stud pads.

Yes I did freehand the rim. I also don't like the non-rim shoudlerpads, so I had to add it! lol

So we can say, "Nice rim job?" I can sense this one is going straight to The Pit.

If I tell you, "You're wrong," you'll need to click this.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?
