Hey guys, I saw mentioned in another thread about Malifaux events in town and figured I would chime in. I was the guy who use to run events over at D-lair 3 or 4 years ago and also ran the events over at Mothership. I have since moved on and am now at Wonko's, and Eric and I are working on starting up Malifaux in the store. We are Placing an order for a decent selection of starter sets and can acquire any of the expansion models upon request. I have been trying to get a healthy group together for years with a decent amount of success. The last league I ran started out with 14 players, about 8 of them brand new to the game. We have plenty of play space now that he have expanded over to the building next door. So I guess what I need to know from you guys is what you works for you. We are looking at open play on Monday and Thursday nights while also having a normal tournament schedule once a month on the weekend. Is there a better night of the week that would work for you guys? Huh, neat. I guess I could dust off my old Zoraida crew. I'm relatively flexible. Tuesdays are really the only days I have something planned. When will the open game nights start?
hopefully after the holidays things will pick up. We have had several new people showing interest in the game that are getting it as gifts for christmas and the like as we as some veteran players. So hopefully after Christmas we will have a regular open play day/days as well as a tournament schedule. I will post again on here in the next few days after we finalize what we want the schedule to look like. Talk to you guys soon!
Just going to bump this thread to ask this. Anybody going to Wonko's for Malifaux this Monday? It's the only Monday night I'll have free for the foreseeable future.
Moodles, I think the guy posting here as LCB is on the wyrd forums as Neverborn403. He doesn't check in here often, but you might try sending him a pm over there to see what's been going on with the wonko's malifaux stuff.
Tho not sure how often he checks in there either, but probably moreso than here. You might try sending Blackyujiro a pm too - he was at DL a few weeks back on Wednesday so you probly met.

Hey guys sorry for the long gap in updates, my old account is being wonky so I just made a new one. Yes we are trying to get malifaux going on Monday nights around 7 PM. We are also working on when we want to run tournaments which I will be reporting back with shortly. The Monday night play is completely open play at the moment, we may attempt an achievement league once the group gets to be a decent size. But yes, we currently have 3-6 people regularly showing up and would love to have more.
