thought I would ask here before derpseer...

So gentlemen I present...

1.In the tomb kings army book all special characters have listed a type (or in the case of Arkhan types) of character that they are; for instance khalida counts as a tomb king. In the faq they make clear that this does not give them the special rules of that character type (obvious really as it lists on some of their profiles those rules which would not be necessary if they automatically had them). They are however effected by rules of other models that interact with certain unit types (pretty much just that khalida, settra, and arkhan can still have bodyguards is the whole point of this typing of SC).

2.Herald Nekaph is a tomb herald.

3. "One Tomb Herald in the army may carry the Battle Standard for +25 points. etc. etc. no magic item and banner at same time etc."

4. Unless you somehow interpret the ability to be upgraded into a BSB as a special rule, Nekaph can be your bsb since he clearly is defined as "special character, tomb herald"

5.Is this stretching the rules or just following logical/fluffy reasoning that is just sort of pointlessly complex since the TK book is still on a first generation 1.0 FAQ?
