The iPhone also outputs 1080p to HDMI as well.
Yes, that's my phone, and yes, the iPhone 4S is pretty close -- sorry, I was incorrect about that.

Oh, and just so you know, I can record 1080p video as well -- you see, customization is a good thing.

And that's it. I really don't like holy wars. I understand that the iPhone platform is a good one, and it certainly does have a very loyal customer base (and for good reason). I fully recognize that the iPhone pretty much single-handedly created the modern smartphone market by forcing the industry to actually have to compete against a good, easy-to-use platform. It's just not for me, and I'll freely admit it's because I despise Apple -- not because of their hardware (which is good, some of the best in the business) but because of the type of computer user it breeds (not to mention corporate evangelists, which are second only to Linux evangelists in terms of obnoxiousness).

I own a MacBook, I was given it by work so I can better support Mac users. Yes, it's an impressive bit of hardware (even being outdated as it is now). But the truth is -- even though I have a background in Unix/Linux Systems Administration -- I find OSX to be counter-intuitive and inconsistent at times.

Plus, no task bar. WTF?

At least it supports two mouse buttons now.
