Anyone can sue you for anything, even if their accusations are completely baseless. I think most typical gamers won't have the money to stand up to a lawsuit, and would likely just capitulate from the threat.

Really just given GW's willingness to aggressively litigate any little thing, this 3D printer business sure does present an interesting question at the very least.

i bought some power axes from shapeway, i was intrigued when they said it was a 3d printer that would make them.

Not the cheapest of the ABS printers out there - and don't get your hopes up for printing minis on this. For about 3Xs that you could get something much more appropriate for fine detail work, in a desktop printer. I am looking into getting one of these next year sometime - if all goes well.
