    warmahordes vs 40k

I found this quote and had to post it.

"For me the real difference is in the companies behind the games. I have played both and just find that Privateer Press is the girl you want to marry. Games Workshop is the high maintenance super hot girl with the huge entourage. She'll bleed you dry trying to keep up with the latest fashions then break your heart. Privateer Press may not be the most popular or most attractive girl at the party but she won't do you wrong. Not completely without faults but she'll never stop using something you spent money on. In my opinion Warmachine is simply a better game, it's been said before but GW is a miniatures selling company that has a game. Privateer Press is a game company that sells miniatures."
Hey, I just met you,and this is crazy, but I just did bath salts, and your face looks tasty!!!

I play both games because its a hobby. Both systems has their merits, both companies aren't perfect. Locally, at least, the whole PP vs GW isn't really an issue. we have enough players on both sides that there is a mutal understanding there.

They are both games. Play what you like.
with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

    Hrrm...

So in this case, Privateer is the girl that used to be cool with you seeing someone else on the side (iBodger). But then recently she told you you had to stop, and promised it was all gonna be ok because her hot friend (War Room) was gonna be moving to town soon, and would be even better. Her friend shows up... turns out she's crazy and steals all your money.

    GW models:

    PP models:

I think I've made the right choice.
