As for out of touch, yeah, I forget how much actual market research the Internet does re price points. Most of the Internet noise makers couldn't run for the border let alone run a company.

GW price points are up there.. you just have to look at the black market. If the price was lower, the demand to buy Chinese knock offs would be lower. Now that is a pure egalitarian type view but there is still some truth to it.
