PAGK will do more damage per point than TAGK or paladins - especially if they are stationary. The problem is unless they're in 2+ cover, the power armor guys die considerably more easily.

I never should have bothered dumping my bulk fire into the paladins. The dreadnought shooting was fine, but getting out of my rhinos just gave you a free round to rip through infantry. I did the same thing playing against John later - I need to remember to not get out unless I'm completely safe for a turn.

I think the idea of having a LRC and paladins be the only targets on the table, then deep striking the power armor guys once the heavy hitters are ready to engage, makes a lot of sense. You get the firepower when you need it, and the heavyweights should be able to survive a turn or two on the field while you wait it out. Just don't lose sight of the fact that your job for the first turn is to advance slightly and survive until reserves come in!
