    Khador Red and Black Primer

Trying to paint up my army using a black primer because that's what I had. However, the red paint seems to really dislike the primer. Other colors I've tried (mostly metallics) seem fine. Are there any good hints for this, or is it basically don't paint the red on black?

Use GW Foundation Mechrite Red on the black primer and then the Khador on top of that.

Based on the blurb they have on their website, that sounds like exactly what I need for the problem. Thanks!

Red is just one of those colors that wants to be difficult.
Mechrite Red in thin layers is probably the best solution for a quick paint job.

The little spots where I have red on my Khador jacks/troops (went for a more 70's/80's commie east German grey with red in some areas) were a pain in the ***** to paint. It just took ALOT of thinned down layers of khador red.
