Fun. Is there enough of these yet?

Jwolf, you say that Josh's dread list is no fun to play? Why? Explain please. I have played it several times and have no real hard feelings against it. How many times have you played it?

I have more issues with the players than their list. As CRP pointed out alot of the time we like to gripe about cheaters. Well quit cheating! More people need to read the entire rulebook and their own codex. It gets hard when it take 5 differnet people to debate a rule.

From now on everyone when there's a hobby tournament we should all show up and play checkers!

First of all, were you huffing paint when you wrote that first sentence?

Jwolf is not the only person that has said that Josh's Dread list is no fun and neither am I.

If you have issues with players then don't play them anymore or you could act like a man and confront them face to face . Of course, you could always continue to play in the Inbred Shed and plot your world wide 40K take over.

How about, from now on everyone bring an actual hobby list to a hobby tournament? That would be a nice change.

It's not about putting down guild lines with some of these guys it's just about saying don't bring anything that might beat them or they might take off home real quick to cry about it and say it's not fair! It's not fair that Josh brought X amount of dreads but it's cool to bring several thunder wolves Lords or TH SS termies or hell even 10 nob bikers

everyone knows that it's hard to run a hobby tournament and that the entire community needs to sit down and rethink how to improve it. Until then I would expect To see heavy list.

And damn CRP cool you engines, I don't know why you keep getting so defensive about everything I type... It's not all about you... We all know you don't cheat you just forget the rules!

I'm pretty sure Josh won't be bringing his Dread list to another "hobby" tournament. Especially when the community, many who have called him friend, put him down this way.

Josh enjoys playing the game just as much as anyone else, to say he doesn't know what hobby is, or associating him with the "inbred shed" is just ridiculous.

By definition this game is a hobby and Josh plays this game quite a bit and gets much enjoyment out of it. Isn't that what a hobby is for? Alot of people on this forum need to realize that they have made their point last week and stop picking on him.

More disrespectful than accusing some one of cheating on a forum, without having the balls to say a word to that person's face? More disrepectful than talking **** about some one the minute they get out of the car that you've been in for over an hour? Really? Because if I really set my mind to it I think I could get more disrepectful than that.

I am sorry if you felt alienated, that was never and is never my intention to anyone. I am always friendly and try to make sure everyone is having a good time. I try to help new players by unloading minis I don't use or selling things cheaper to other players to help expand their collection if I am not using them. I try to treat the DL staff to snacks and drinks whenever they host events for us. John, you and I have had good laughs and conversations about the game without arguing or trash talking. Bottom line, this hobby is my thing I get too enjoy away from all the stresses of work and life, and it is slowly becoming more stressful than work, which is terrible. I know sometimes my competitive nature can come out in a game in turn 5 by trying to stretch 1 unit to claim two objectives or lashing a squad off another... I am not trying to ruin someones game I am just trying to out maneuver or strategize my adversary.

I understand the difference between Hobby/Heavy and that if I don't want to participate in the Hobby event I don't have too.. after all there is still a monthly "anything goes" tournament to satisfy my WAACness.

But butt hurt is better than being a cheater that forgets all the rules to the game. You brought a pretty heavy list too. You just forgot how to win! You should get some ginko brother!

Fun, yeah I have fun playing time and again, some are wins others... But at leas I'm not crying about a list I've only faced twice. You didn't win? No fun? Learn to play better and then I don't have to dumb down my list so you can have fun... I mean win too!

Speaking of complaining about lists, you still bring up on a regular basis how annoying my Eldar list (with support platforms, a single tank, and guardians, I might add) was that I think I played twice against you two years ago.

Oh and complaining that IG vets have to many special weapons while you gotta keep a sheet of paper to track all the wounds on your nobz because they're built to abuse the wound allocation system.

Chucking in Zogwort doesn't magically make a list hobby, anymore than if I took a leafblower with Nork in it.


Anyway, anyone want to start a betting pool on how much longer this thread lasts before being deleted or locked?

Oh, you mean won by getting the game changing assault off by moving within less than an inch of one of my models in the movement phase. I think technically that would make your teammate the cheater, not me. It could have been a mistake, I guess. But, your club knows all the rules and never screws up. So, it had to be cheating, right? I could've stayed and argued more but, I went to the chicken store instead. The win wasn't worth arguing over even when I was right. Winning is your thing not mine, even if I'm better at it.

My list could've been a lot harder. It could have been more hobby, as well....and would have been if certain lists were not known to be making an appearance. You see how that ****s things up for others, or do you even care? That's the whole point of this thread, you dumbass. You're just too stupid to read the words muchless comprehend them. As far as "dumbing down" lists to play a hobby tournament..it's a hobby tournament you moron.

I've beat Josh's list both times that I've played it, that doesn't make it fun. That was for the Win each time, btw. How many tournaments have you won in the last six months, Brian? Count them up and we can compare numbers, Mr."I don't want to play IG they're no fun".< That's pretty hypocritical.
