Yar.
I second the motion. I'd like to hear something. . . even if it's just "Shush, we're working on it"
I suggest you take a look at http://www.wargamescon.com/2012/09/w...next-june.html
Fffffffffff
I have to miss it his year, muy triste.
What? How come?
Crap. That might be a little too close to L&L, assuming Privateer Press doesn't move it.
JWolf still hasn't decided on a points size for 40k Tourni has he?
It should be 1850 or lower, so I can have enough time to get my Orks assembled and ready.
You play 40k!?
Last I heard 2000 or more... 2150 or 2250!
2250!!! Yeah MOAR CHEESE!!!
I'm bringing the cracka' for yo cheez!!!!!!
Cheese , cracka's and BEERHAMMER!
Beerhammer! Who needs to/can remember anything else about BoLSCon 2012?
How about a tarp for Kingsley to stand on for his next BEERHAMMER game, so he doesn't spew on the floor again.....
Or maybe don't challenge the best beerhammer player there is. I will drop pod assault you with Foster's Oil Cans.
I think we need to do a beerhammer tourney. BUT - just so we can actually finish games and so no one pulls a kings - we limit the beer per game ratio per player. OR we get really crazy:
3 round tourney, 1 - 18 pack per player. You can drink as many/all of them as you want per game. But once you are out of beer, you're just out of beer!
If this becomes an event, I'm alright signing up to play.
Nah I just go hard that way. Puke and rally bro, puke and rally!
Right now there is a gas station on guadalupe with 30 packs for 9.99. It's stoney's too, which is pretty good. I'd have a beer hammer tournament tonight...
But limiting me to an 18 pack over 6 hours? That's not enough. Especially since the only beer that comes in 18 packs are beers that couldn't get kid's night drunk.
Play beerhammer or don't play it at all. (In true beer hammer the objectives are shots, so when to take an objective becomes strategy.)
I could get behind true beerhammer, but I just don't like beer. it's certainly fun to watch though.
I do back the BEERHAMMER tournament idea though with an 18 pack over 3 rounds. No one says it needs to be crap beer. You can bring any kind you want to as long as it isn't over 12 ounces per and 18 total over three rounds. We could even require ID and require players to have proof of a hotel room to limit potential liabilities.
Let's make this happen!
See you in the finals Tyson!!!!
I would easily win this but I won't have a room nor can afford 18 hotel beers $5 each is what I recalled from last year...
Did Kingsley just say that he'd easily win this? The objective isn't to throw up.
*double post*
there shouldn't be any objectives, maybe kill points.
as far as our game went, i didn't know we were keeping score... besides, i win because i go to eleven
...and he puked and still got kissed.
I am the master of the puke and rally. Anyone else would be down but I keep it going.
Right there with you man..... I just look at the other guy on the floor that can't get back up and say, "See how this works, I can do this all night my friend...."
I used to know a girl named Faith Ann. When we played drinking games she would pull the trash can up next to her. She would not leave the table until she passed out.
This sounds like a fun tournament. I will try to attend.
That's what I'm talkin about guys! And the reasons I say an 18 pack are as follows:
1) Table space - IF you pace yourself, that's 6 beers per game in a 3 rounder... at...lets just say 1850, that's enough to block enough stuff (12 cans on a table is nothing to scoff at)
2) To avoid the "Damn, I gotta Pee again" syndrome. You break the seal, it breaks back. 18 beers is a lot of liquid to hold for most people.
3) To avoid Pulling a Kings - Puke and rally is great and all, but I don't want to smell it, or see you topless kings.
4) To finish games (ref item 2) - also, keeping score becomes more of a challenge
5) To keep it civil - Look, most people play beerhammer for fun. But Some people can become raging assholes if they get drunk. I would like to avoid that and I think 6 beers a game is a pretty reasonable pace.
6) Not everyone has an iron liver - But 18 beers in 6 hours is 3 drinks an hour and 'should' keep the lightweights in the game as much as you 'heavyweights'
but hey, if you want to challenge yourself, go get a "stouter" beer. I think regular cans or bottles should be allowed. and 18 packs are still relatively cheap and it's a nice round number.
So we totally need to make this happen.
We should also require ID's. That seems like a no brainer
