Everything is better on a laserdisc.. Star Wars before the fix.. Aliens with the gun sentries, Blade Runner with the unicorn.
Who knows is some alternate reality Laserdisc replaced Beta and Magic failed after homelands and was replaced by Star Trek the: CCG
