How long do these games go for?
Looks like I can go. So I would bring marines and can do up to 2500 points .
Sounds good John.
Sorry guys can't make it had to go to work and do kids stuff. Have fun and will see ya next weekend.
A warp portal had opened on the planet of Seraphim Secundus and began spewing out daemonic filth of all sorts. It even attracted the interest of an sizeable Eldar force and an ork Warband. The imperials were quick to respond and try and close the portal sending Imperial Knights, Grey Knights, Space Marines, Space Wolves, and even the Officio Assasinorum. Both sides met in a titanic clash with forces arrayed not seen on Seraphim Secundus, probably ever.
Imperial Knights fell to Eldar ranged weaponry and the close combat of crazed Ork Tankhuntas. Culexus Assassins slayed Greater Unclean Ones. Daemon Princes hyped up on Mountain Dew were cracking Dreadnoughts and Terminators open and consuming the gooey center. Kugath Plaguefather himself was stymied by a Contemptor Dreadnought, but managed to destroy an Iron Priest. Soul Grinders were immobilized by intercepting Vengeance Weapon Batteries. In a sad tale, the Obsidian Knight 6 Stomped a Land Raider full of Kharn the Betrayer and Khorne Bezerkers. Kharn and the Bezerkers charged the Knight and Kharn bellowed a fell challenge to the Knight. Kharn was able to gain the initiative and destroy the Knight almost twice over before the Knight was able to raise a Chainsword. However the fates were unkind as Kharn ascended to Daemonhood to join his gene-father at his side.
Remembrancers managed to capture some images that can be found here.
Thank you guys again I had a great time.
It was a really fun game until around turn 3 when the Noodlers daemon princes came down and crushed everyone's spirit. I've never seen someone accidentally be a WAAC player before until now lol!
-Noodlers being the only person with access to multiple invisibilities declares we are using the RAW invisibility. (to be fair we were using RAW for everything including D.)
-Invisible Belakor with 2+ rerollable save leading 3 Iron Armed + Enduranced 2+ jink daemon princes crushed Tyler's 40k spirit. (Noodlers had no idea how powerful daemon princes with stacked powers were)
-Noodlers being the nice guy he is gave his psychic cards to the grey knight player to later realize his "banishment" power was misprinted as warp charge 3(instead of 1). (basically their only answer for the 2++ daemons was accidentally sabotaged)
-Half a dozen times throughout the game Noodlers would lose a model, but then due to multiple circumstances we'd have to redo the entire attack that killed them and they would "return the life". (Usually due to noodlers forgetting that the unit was iron armed/enduranced. Though the best one was Noodlers skipping to the assault phase ahead of everyone else, losing a maulerfiend to a Knight in assault, just to find out the Knight died 10 minutes LATER in our teams SHOOTING PHASE, and so the maulerfiend was magically brought back to life)
None of it was intentional though and we all had a laugh about it the whole time.
Also the Green Tide clearing out the entire middle of the board by pulling something like 4000 points of dudes on both sides into the warp was pretty hilarious. (anyone locked in combat in the center of the board suffered a deep strike mishap every turn, and the green tide multi assaulted EVERYTHING in the center turn 2. Much shenanigans were had)
That's right and I would do it all again, except i would wait on the assault phase before starting assaults, and yes twice did i launch an assault against a model that was destroyed in the previous shooting phase.
Don't care brought Belakor is my new motto.
So many unpainted models... How did you know who's was who's?
Hey my grey models were painted grey.
Paints overrated.
24,000 points of "bring everything you got" 40k is what its all about.
First time I've seen Wolfstars, green tides, 5 imperial knights, 10+ Daemon Princes, Wraithknight, dreadknights all in 1 game and had fun with it.
I hope to do it again sometime soon!
this noodlers guy sounds like a real prince himself
