King's Hobby
I want to give a shout out to King's Hobby, located on North Lamar, right north of 183.
I am trying to build my display board for WGC and really extending my boundaries, yes laugh it up all of you, that includes using foam board. Well, I went to King's on Friday and overbought as many of us do when the idea has not become reality yet on the hobby table. After I was finished I had quite a lot, in fact over half my order that I wanted to take back. Yesterday I went back and returned the half of my order I did not need and they made it happen no questions asked.
They have a sign out front that says shop local. In some cases that comes with a tradeoff on price or on return policies. In King's case that is not what they do so thank you KING'S HOBBY for allowing us to dream in your store and take back the rest when we don't need it.

I've been there many times even play Saturday night magic there! Love that place they can even order some GW models if you want to buy locally!

They even (usually) have Windsor-Newton Series 7 brushes...and more weathering powders and terrain stuff than pretty much anyone else in town. I love me some King's Hobby.

Kings is awesome. I agree.

Yep they also have a great selection of drill bits for pin vices and different sizes of tape for air brushing straight lines. They just got in a new fully stocked display of brass rod and tubing too. It's really easy to get carried away buying things in there... Great place

Hey where is this tape you speak of

Behind the counter. I had to ask about it :)

I have a vivid childhood memory of buying one of my first model airplane kits from there. King's has been there forever! (And honestly, doesn't seem to have changed much.)
